As it is known today, the Huntsman Games began in 1987 as the World Senior Games, an international senior sports competition. The Games began with their vision of an international sports event for men and women ages 55 and better.
Twice per year, BBSC Endurance Sports comes to town and puts on world class triathlon events. Distances range from kids/beginners to olympic, ensuring that it's a great event for any age or ability!
Recently acknowledged by Runners World Magazine, of the 319 marathons evaluated, the St. George Marathon was voted the “Most Organized” marathon in the country! 26.2 miles of absolutely remarkable scenery.
This event travels the most beautiful running venues the world has to offer. The race begins at 11,000 feet at Brian Head Ski resort then travels Dixie Nat’l Forest, Cedar Breaks, Snow Canyon, St. George, and ends at the entrance to Zion National Park.
The World Horseshoe Tournament happens one time per year in different locations each year. for 2013, St. George Utah has been selected as the host city.
